support is of good quality and tailored to the specific needs of our target
audience.
Who Should
Join This Program?
Newcomers’
peer group discussion is for people who experience anxiety and emotional
struggles when moving to Canada, feeling lonely due to lack of contacts and
homesickness.

What To Expect
in The Program?
In a smaller
group of 10-20 program attendants participate in workshops with a social worker
to discuss and overcome feelings of anxiety associated with the settling
process.
This allows
newcomers to meet with people who have been in their shoes and have enough
expertise to assist newcomers psychologically in overcoming the current
situation by advising them on how to overcome different psychological moments.
This interaction will build connectedness from similar experiences and foster
hope in well-being and quality of life.
