Newcomers’ Peer Group Discussion Is For People Who Experience Anxiety And Emotional Struggles When Moving To Canada, Feeling Lonely Due To Lack Of Contacts And Homesickness.

What To Expect In The Program?
In A Smaller Group Of 10-20. Program Attendants Participate In Workshops With A Social Worker To Discuss And Overcome Feelings Of Anxiety Associated With The Settling Process. This Allows Newcomers To Meet With People Who Have Been In Their Shoes And Have Enough Expertise To Assist Newcomers Psychologically In Overcoming The Current Situation By Advising Them On How To Overcome Different Psychological Moments. This Interaction Will Build Connectedness From Similar Experiences And Foster Hope In Well-being And Quality Of Life.
