As a learning and teaching organization, Newcomers Union is dedicated to offering enriching placement opportunities for students, especially those from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds. We recognize students as valuable contributors to advancing Newcomers Union's strategic goals.
We welcome a select number of college and university students who are passionate about assisting newcomers. Placement opportunities are available in various areas, Due to the high volume of student placement requests and the limited number of staff available to supervise, we regret that we cannot accommodate all applicants. Securing a placement with us depends on how well your learning requirements and skills align with our agency’s current and emerging needs.

Current Placement Opportunities for Fall 2024:
Marketing Assistant (Creating Marketing Email Campaigns and social media contents)
• Postings Creation: Create social media posts and  for various social media platform including Instagram, facebook, and other platforms 
• Video Creation: Shoot raw video content and conduct basic video editing and post videos on our social media platforms
• Email Creation: Write contents and create designs with CTAs for Emails and newsletters that we sent out to our subscribers 
Event Assistant
• Event Design: Come up with the event concept and execution plans
•       Event Promosion: Wrtie Event description and publish events on our own websites , meetup and eventbrite.          Coordinate with marketing team for events posts on social media and Email campaigns. 
• Event Execytion: Organize events on event day and mangage all aspects of events.
